Over the weekend, more than 40 ducks were discovered dead in front of Delray Feed and Supply west of Delray Beach. The business owners were shocked and disgusted by the illegal dumping. Michelle Cohen, who owns the business, alerted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and shared photos she had taken to report the incident.

The dump included at least 40 or more duck carcasses, and Cohen also suspected that the animals had been shot. The owners are certain that the remains were from a wide variety of ducks, but they declined to touch the carcasses further out of disinclination. Surveillance video is currently being reviewed in search of any potential leads.

Michelle Cohen is highly supportive of hunting, but only under the premise of respect towards the animals. She hopes for a resolution to this illegal dumping incident and for those responsible to be held accountable for their actions. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is currently investigating to get to the bottom of this crime.
