The company advised users that it might take at least 48 hours, if not longer, before the issue could be resolved and e-books could be downloaded again. Amazon devices spokesperson Jackie Burke confirmed that the issue reported by some Kindle customers was swiftly resolved, allowing users to once again enjoy their e-books on their devices.
