Businesses in Baton Rouge are constructing at the intersection of Burbank and Lee

B-Quik is currently constructing its fourth local store, located next to the Benny’s car wash on Lee Drive. The aim is to have a 5,000-square-foot convenience store up and running by the end of the year. This new store will be co-owned by Justin Alford, who also owns Benny’s, and will resemble the B-Quik store on Perkins Road. However, it will feature self-service checkouts and a larger drink cooler. In addition, the store will have six gas pumps and offer discounts to members of the Benny’s car wash club.

The new station will require approximately 30 to 35 employees to operate smoothly. Guy Hopkins Construction is serving as the general contractor for this project. If you notice any construction or renovation work in your neighborhood and would like more information about it, please send an email with a picture or location details to [tboone@theadvocate.com](mailto:tboone@theadvocate.com).
