Henrico Police are investigating after a car was stolen outside a business.

Two weeks ago, a car theft occurred outside a business on Dickens Road. The incident took place on March 22 at around 10 a.m. when a 2018 Silver Infiniti Q50 was reported stolen by the owner. The owner had parked the vehicle outside the business the previous night at around 9 p.m.

According to surveillance footage from the business, an unidentified individual approached the vehicle, smashed the rear passenger-side window, and climbed inside. During the theft, a blue Dodge Challenger entered the parking lot, with the suspect still inside the Infiniti. About 10 minutes later, the thief drove away in the Infiniti, followed closely by the driver of the Dodge.

The Henrico Police are currently investigating this car theft case and are seeking any information that may lead to identifying and apprehending those responsible for this crime. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information about it is urged to contact Det. M. Valentine at (804) 501-5248 or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
