Alessio Butti, the undersecretary of the Prime Minister responsible for Innovation, highlighted the importance of bridging the infrastructure gap on smaller islands and how it represents an investment in their economic development. Alfredo Maria Becchetti, President of Infratel Italia, also emphasized the significance of providing adequate connectivity to these areas.
