Webinar hosted by Broome County Industrial Development Agency introduces proposed technology park

The Broome Technology Park is a new project that aims to bring economic growth and development to the region. The project will be located in the towns of Maine and Union in Broome County, between East Maine Road and Airport Road. It is expected to be completed by 2025.

The technology park will provide various benefits to the area, such as private investment, job creation, and new companies investing in the community. This initiative was discussed during a public information webinar held by the Broome County Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The webinar provided insights into the objectives of the project and outlined the review and design process.

Stacey Duncan, Executive Director of the Broome County IDA, emphasized the importance of environmental review and ongoing public engagement in shaping the future of this project. To address any questions or concerns from the community about the tech park project, an open house will be hosted on August 6th. Detailed information regarding the project will also be posted on its website for public access.
