Cincinnati Health Department Clarifies No Decision Made on Bobbie Sterne Health Center Closure, Explores Options for Improvement

As a journalist, I would like to clarify that the Cincinnati Health Department has not made any decisions regarding the closure of the Bobbie Sterne Health Center. In response to concerns raised in a recent article by Betsy Kim, the health department is currently reviewing recommendations from a consultant who was hired in 2023 to study all health department facilities and determine cost-effective ways to provide quality care to patients. While the Bobbie Sterne Health Center has provided excellent service to many patients, there have been concerns raised about long wait times and physical limitations at some of our health centers.

To address these challenges and improve our ability to serve our community, we are exploring different options for improvement. We will engage with the community and those who may be impacted by any changes as we continue to review and plan for the future.
