Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has appointed Collin Lee as space business development vice president. Lee announced the news on LinkedIn on Tuesday. Prior to this new role, Lee worked as VP of intelligence systems at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business and spent five years with the subsidiary. His career has spanned over 23 years and includes work in business consulting, defense, and intelligence.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in public administration from James Madison University, Lee began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant before joining Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) in 2003. In May 2007, he became legislative liaison at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), where he stayed for more than four years before being named director of legislative affairs at the National Security Council.
Lee began his tenure at GDMS as director of strategy and business development and was also named director of the company’s Frontiers space technology incubator. With his extensive experience in space technology, Lee is well-suited for his new role at SAIC and looks forward to contributing to its continued growth and success in this area.
