Dacia announces the upcoming release of the new electric Sandero model

In a major announcement, Denis Le Vot has confirmed that the next generation of Dacia Sandero will include a purely electric variant. The Sandero, Dacia’s best-selling vehicle with around 235,000 units sold in 2023, currently does not have an electrified option. However, the brand has now announced plans to release a battery-electric version of the vehicle with its next generation in 2027 or 2028.

The next generation Sandero will still have an internal combustion engine but will also offer an electric version. Denis Le Vot stated that this is a significant step for the brand and will be a major player in their lineup.
