Buffalo Museum of Science Hosts Eclipse-A-Palooza Event

Spring break is just around the corner, and families are looking for fun and educational activities to do together. Look no further than the Buffalo Museum of Science for Eclipse-A-Palooza, a week-long programming event dedicated to the upcoming Solar Eclipse on April 8th.

Eclipse-A-Palooza will take place from April 1st to 7th, with activities running from 10AM to 2PM each day. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about what happens during an eclipse, as well as the technology used to observe astronomical events. The museum has even organized an Eclipse Eve celebration on April 7th, so visitors can get a head start on their eclipse experience.

As a “subject matter expert site” named by NASA for the days leading up to the eclipse, the Buffalo Museum of Science will host programming throughout the weekend before the big event. NASA scientists and educators will be on hand to answer questions and provide insights into this fascinating astronomical phenomenon.

Entry to the exhibits is included with regular museum admission, and Buffalo Public School students can enjoy free admission on April 5th to 7th. It’s important to note that the museum will be closed on April 8th, so plan your visit accordingly.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn about and experience the solar eclipse at the Buffalo Museum of Science. Tickets can be purchased online for your convenience. Make sure to plan your visit today and make the most of your spring break with your family!
