The Catawba Science Center is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest exhibit, “Expanding Horizons: The Solar System & Beyond”, on July 10th in the Hall of Astronomy. Located next to the Millholland Planetarium, this permanent exhibit offers visitors an immersive journey through space and beyond.
One of the main attractions is a Mars pod that transports guests to the red planet, allowing them to experience what it would be like to live on it. In addition, a new planetarium show titled “Destination Mars” will be narrated by former NASA astronaut Mae Jemison, providing visitors with an exciting and educational experience.
