Workshop on the Influence of Technology on Child Development and Mental Health to Be Hosted by Leading Experts

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) are hosting a workshop on April 4th and 5th. The workshop will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on both days and will focus on the impact of technology and digital media on the development and mental well-being of children and adolescents.

Experts in technology, child development, and mental health will lead discussions on both the positive and negative effects of technology on young minds. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore current research findings and discuss future directions in this field.

Sponsored by NICHD’s Child Development Branch and NIMH’s Division of Translational Research, the workshop is open to both the scientific community and the general public. Registration is required to participate in this free event, which promises to be a valuable resource for anyone interested in understanding how technology affects children’s development.
