After a severe thunderstorm hit Zagreb last night, heavy rain caused flooding in the streets of Dalmatia. According to reports from Zadar, all major roads were submerged and cars were swimming in the water. Boris Jović from JVP Zadar stated that they had been involved in several interventions to address the floodwaters that had entered basements due to flash flooding. The large amount of water that entered these basements required immediate attention and cleanup efforts. The aftermath of the storm left behind flooded roads and cars, as well as flooded basements, affecting not only Zadar but also other areas in Dalmatia. Residents described the scene as cars literally swimming in the flooded streets.
