Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks are starting to look like a formidable team. The two stars are building chemistry, the Bucks have switched back to their drop defense and a number of other things have the team looking better on both ends. This was evident on Monday night when they beat the Wizards, with Giannis Antetokounmpo scoring 42 points on 20-of-23 shooting, 13 rebounds and eight assists.

It’s easy to forget that early in the season it is difficult to draw sweeping conclusions about teams that have been thrown together over the summer. However, the Bucks may be in a soft part of their schedule facing teams like Washington, but they are using it to find their footing and they look like a threat again. There are still many questions to answer, such as Khris Middleton’s health and role, but there is a season for them to be answered.
