Two women were caught stealing from a metro small business, Classic Charm Boutique in Oklahoma City’s midtown. The store owner, Brooke Donoley, noticed the two women going into the fitting rooms with four items but only coming out with two. She believes they hid the clothing in their bags before leaving.
Donoley is giving the women until the end of the weekend to return and pay for the stolen items before she pursues legal action. She hopes that by giving them a chance to make it right, they will understand the consequences of their actions and choose to do the right thing.
After taking inventory and noticing the missing items, Donoley called the police. She wants the suspects to understand the impact of their actions, stating that stealing from small businesses is not only wrong but also affects the livelihood of the business owner. To her, it is personal as she has put her heart and soul into her business.
