J.P. Morgan Predicts Cooling Stock Markets in Europe

The day’s trading overview includes the latest reports, trends, indices, stock prices, bonds, foreign exchange, and commodities, as well as analyst recommendations. The European trading day began with a negative trend although without significant changes. The British FTSE index fell by 0.3%, while the DAX and KAC opened unchanged. Meanwhile in Asia, the stock exchanges of China, Hong Kong, and South Korea are closed for the Chinese New Year and Japan is closed for “National Day”. Wall Street futures are trading in a mixed trend with minimal changes.

On Wall Street last Friday, trading closed in a mixed trend with gains in some sectors while losses were recorded in others. The S&P 500 index rose by approximately 0.6% and closed above 5000 points for the first time. However, the Dow Jones index fell by around 0.1% while the Nasdaq recorded increases of around 1.2%. Several interesting reports are expected to emerge this week including those from Coca-Cola, IRB, Paramount Global, Cisco Corp., Occidental Petroleum
