The government has established a coordination table to discuss various aspects of agriculture, including labor costs, manpower procurement, flow management, training, and simplification. This was announced by Patrizio La Pietra, the undersecretary of Masaf, at a meeting held at the ministry with representatives from Agricultural redemption.
La Pietra emphasized that the government is committed to defending the agricultural sector and will do so with the same conviction as always. The government is currently considering introducing new policies for community agricultural projects that will directly benefit farmers and their businesses.
Farmers stand to benefit greatly from these new policies, which will be implemented in the near future. Discussions will soon begin with regional governments and agricultural organizations to identify supply chains for initial support interventions. Additionally, the insurance system is being revised to lower insurance costs for farmers and expand coverage for those who need it most.
