Green Business Workshop in Northwest Colorado happening this week

The Yampa Valley Sustainability Council and Steamboat Springs Chamber are excited to present the second installment of the “Business Leadership for Climate” workshop series on Wednesday. Local business owners and organizations are invited to attend this event, which will take place from 1:30 p.m. to noon at the Routt County Health and Human Services Community Room in Steamboat Springs.

During the workshop, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the green business program and learn how to navigate the recognition application process. They will also discover strategies to accumulate points towards certification, with a focus on achieving bronze-level recognition within the first year.

The goal of this event is to promote the growth of the Yampa Valley green business community and facilitate discussions about green business opportunities and challenges. For those unable to attend the workshop, attendees can still participate in office hours hosted by the Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley team at Bud Werner Memorial Library Coffee Bar from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on the last Wednesday of every month without an RSVP required, allowing them to drop in, enjoy a free coffee and snack, and get more information and their questions answered.
