Euro 2024 is just around the corner and the “fire” national team has qualified for the tournament after a lot of drama and excitement. The team, led by coach Dalić, will be playing in Germany, where full stands of Croats await them.

Josko Guardiol, who will be just 22 years old during the Euros, expressed his joy at qualifying for his third major competition and being able to play alongside other young players. Borna Sosa returned to the first team after Guardiol played the match in Riga on the left flank and assisted for the winning goal. Although Sosa’s performance was not up to expectations, he was given another chance by the coach.

Sosa talked about the atmosphere they expect in Germany, saying that they are more motivated since there will be a great atmosphere and they know their goals are to pass the group. He also addressed Dalić’s criticism, saying it was just an incentive for him to do better and improve in the future.

Dominik Livaković also commented on the victory and placement at the Euro, expressing his happiness at returning to Maksimir and helping the team with important one-on-one defense. Livaković stated that their goals for the Euro are to go through the group step by step without announcing anything specific.
