Herbie Kane has joined Huddersfield Town on a three-year deal after leaving Barnsley at the end of his contract. The 25-year-old midfielder previously played under Huddersfield’s former Barnsley boss Michael Duff during his time at Oakwell.
Kane, who began his career at Liverpool, made 43 League One appearances for Barnsley last season, scoring nine goals. He expressed his excitement about joining Huddersfield Town, stating, “I couldn’t be happier to be joining Huddersfield Town at such an exciting time, and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead.”
The midfielder emphasized his focus on working hard alongside his new teammates in pre-season to ensure a great start to the season and maintain momentum in what he acknowledges as a tough division. Having had experience at a high level during his time at Liverpool and Barnsley, Kane brings valuable skills and expertise to the Huddersfield Town squad.
