High school students with entrepreneurial skills will battle it out for the chance to win cash rewards with their innovative business concepts.

High school students from Park City Schools Center for Advanced Professional Studies recently participated in the seventh annual Invest Nest Competition. This statewide event provides students with the opportunity to receive investments for their business ideas. The top 10 student competitors will present their ideas on April 23 at Park City High School, with the first-place winner advancing to the state competition in Provo on April 29.

This year, the Invest Nest Competition offers a chance for students to win up to $30,000. In addition to cash prizes, half of the prize money can be used for tuition, books, or supplies for college or secondary education. The honorary judges for this year’s Park City event include industry professionals like Ben Rifkin and Lenore Karafa.

The Invest Nest Competition not only fosters innovation and entrepreneurship but also supports students in pursuing their educational goals. By presenting their ideas to investors and receiving feedback from judges, honorary judges, and the public, students gain valuable experience that they can use later in life. If they are selected as winners, they may receive investments that can help them turn their ideas into reality.

Overall, the Invest Nest Competition is an excellent opportunity for high school students in Utah to showcase their business ideas and potentially receive investments to help them succeed in future endeavors.
