Nelson and Westhead Selected as Inductees for the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024

The Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame has announced the Class of 2024, which includes former Saint Joseph’s standouts Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead. The induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Live! Casino & Hotel Event Center in South Philadelphia.

Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead are among the many talented athletes and coaches who have made significant contributions to sports in Philadelphia. Other inductees include George Benton, Rod Brind’Amour, Angelo Cataldi, Joan (Moore) Gnat, Brendan Hansen, Ryan Howard, Lurline Jones, Cheryl Reeve, Eddie Stanky, Andy Talley, A. W. Tillinghast, Chase Utley, and Alice Putnam Willetts.
