JMU Sports News: Anticipated Return of Three Veteran JMU Football Players in 2024

JMU football’s spring roster has been released, and several key returning players are on it. Among them are defensive end Abi Nwabuoku-Okonji and linebacker Taurus Jones, both of whom entered the transfer portal in the offseason. Solomon Vanhorse is also listed on the roster after suffering a season-ending injury in 2023.

The team will greatly benefit from the return of these veteran players, particularly defensively. Nwabuoku-Okonji, who was hindered by an injury in 2023, showed promise as a starting defensive end and is expected to play an important role in the upcoming 2024 season.
