Kylie Watson appointed as APAC security lead at DXC Technology

Kylie Watson has been promoted by DXC Technology to lead the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions. Watson previously oversaw security in Australia and New Zealand and is now based in Sydney. In her new role, she will be responsible for helping customers in these regions improve their cybersecurity posture through advisory and managed security services.

Watson joined DXC earlier this year as head of security for A/NZ, following a year as a cyber security and digital trust partner at PwC Australia. With a background in the Australian Army and leadership roles at companies like SAP, Deloitte, HP, and IBM, she brings two decades of IT experience across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand.

Excited about her new role, Watson expressed confidence in delivering expert services and threat intelligence to customers while promoting smart cyber resilience strategies. Described by DXC as a highly experienced and outcome-focused leader, she is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
