Free Lunch Workshop on Business Leadership for Climate Change on Wednesday.

The Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley is inviting business and organizational representatives to join a workshop on “Business Leadership for Climate” from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm on Wednesday at the Routt County Health and Human Services Community Room in downtown Steamboat Springs. This is the second workshop in a series highlighting the programs of this nonprofit organization, which is part of the overall Colorado Green Business Network.

During this free workshop, attendees will learn about state-level recognition and discover strategies to accumulate points towards certification. By becoming certified, businesses can distinguish themselves as leaders in sustainability and align with the growing consumer demand for eco-conscious products and services. Lunch will be provided by Hypnotic Chicken with energy bars from Bar-U-Eat.

The event is open to the public but requires registration at YVSC.org/yvsc-events. The Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley was launched in summer 2022 as a free, technical assistance, and environmental recognition program that aims to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint and become more sustainable.
