CCCTC Health Academy Program students achieve certifications | Latest News, Sports, Employment opportunities

Pam Dawson, RN and Health Academy Instructor at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center, recently announced the certification of a group of Patient Care Technicians through the National Healthcareer Association. These students have completed extensive training and have demonstrated proficiency in their duties.

The Patient Care Technicians are essential in providing direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals, performing tasks such as monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily activities, collecting specimens, and offering support to patients and their families.

Lexi Kelly, Kyrstin Reckner, Emma Julian, Abbie Passmore, Peyton Swanson, Alee Keyes, Megan Moore, Kamryn Martin, Alissa Frantz, Ariana Gonzalez, Cheyenne Schwartz, and Marah Morris are among the students who earned national certification as Patient Care Technicians. Their dedication and success in earning this certification reflect the importance of this role in the healthcare industry.

Pam Dawson commended the students for their achievements and emphasized the competitive advantage that comes with national certification.
