Jordan Stolz fans, mark your calendars for a special event coming your way this winter. The International Skating Union (ISU) has chosen Milwaukee’s Pettit National Ice Center to host the Long Track Speed Skating World Cup from January 31 to February 2, 2025. This event will mark the fourth stop of the World Cup season series.
Paul Golomski, the General Manager of Pettit National Ice Center, expressed excitement for the opportunity to host the world’s best speed skaters just one year before the 2026 Winter Olympics. Stolz’s coach, Bob Corby, emphasized the significance of this event for both Jordan and the Milwaukee community, as it will allow Stolz to compete at his home rink in front of a home crowd.
Top speed skaters from around the world will participate in various events, including the 500 meters, 1,000 meters, 1,500 meters, 3,000 meters for women, and 5,000 meters for men. There will also be a mass start race, team pursuit
