CEO announced for local marketing technology firm

Marigold, a marketing technology firm based in Nashville, has appointed Mike Gordon as CEO. Gordon previously held the position of CEO at ArisGlobal, a company in Massachusetts specializing in clinical safety and regulatory solutions. Prior to that, he led Altus Group, a real estate asset group based in Toronto. While Gordon is based in Boston, he will be spending a significant amount of time in Nashville according to a Marigold spokesperson.

Gordon’s appointment comes as a replacement for Wellford Dillard, who has served as CEO of Marigold for seven years. Dillard will now be taking on the role of CEO at Avid, a media and entertainment technology company based in Burlington, Massachusetts. In a statement, Gordon expressed his excitement to continue the progress already made at Marigold and to provide innovative marketing solutions that surpass the expectations of global brands.

The former CM Group rebranded to Marigold in 2023 and currently has 100 employees in Nashville. The firm consists of various companies including Campaign Monitor, Cheetah Digital, Emma in Nashville, Liveclicker, Sailthru, Selligent and Vuture.
