During a recent meeting held in Manama, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abd Al-Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani discussed various issues on their bilateral agenda. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia highlighted the importance of periodic consultations between the two foreign ministries, as well as the need to establish the necessary legal framework for cooperation.

Mirzoyan presented promising directions for bilateral relations, including trade and economy, civil aviation, tourism, and information technologies. He also introduced the “Crossroads of Peace” program developed by the Armenian government and expressed hope that it will be attractive to Middle Eastern countries, including Bahrain.

The meeting also included discussions on the latest developments in the South Caucasus and the Middle East. Mirzoyan presented an overview of the current security situation in the region and outlined Armenia’s approach to establishing lasting peace and stability in the area.
