Geoffrey Esper and James Webb are among the top contenders in this year’s Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest, with Webb attracting early action from bettors. Without Joey Chestnut, who has won the contest a record 16 times, the competition is more unpredictable. Miki Sudo, a woman who set a world record by consuming 51 hot dogs in 10 minutes, is also a commanding favorite in the women’s division.
