The City of New Ulm is preparing for Small Business Saturday on November 25th, a day-long event that aims to showcase and celebrate the local small businesses in the area. The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Small Business Owners Group, is organizing this event by creating a flyer or list of businesses participating in Small Business Saturday. These businesses will be offering special deals and incentives to local shoppers.
The Grinch character will also be making appearances at select participating businesses between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., adding an extra element of excitement for shoppers. With over 340 members representing the city’s largest employers, retailers, professional services, and interested individuals, the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce represents a significant force in promoting local businesses.
A list of participating businesses can be accessed online and on social media as well as through The Journal newspaper.
