Local business faces a series of unfortunate events

Shawarmar Middle Eastern Cuisine, a small shop located in the heart of Kansas City, has been serving flavors from the owner’s hometown in Saudi Arabia for six years. Despite recent setbacks, owner Abeer Jari remains determined to keep her dream alive and continue providing quality food and service to the community.

The restaurant was hit by an uninsured driver on Christmas Eve, causing damage to their sign and building. Ongoing construction in the area has also impacted business and led to a loss of employees. However, Jari is passionate about continuing to provide delicious Middle Eastern dishes and invites customers to visit the restaurant and experience their unique flavors.

Facing financial challenges, Jari’s husband started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover repair costs. Jari encourages people to support the business by trying their food and experiencing the flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine. She believes that their quality food and service will help them overcome these challenges and continue serving delicious dishes for many years to come.

Despite the current difficulties, Jari remains optimistic and determined to keep Shawarmar operating. She believes that with community support, they can navigate these challenging times and continue serving delicious Middle Eastern dishes. The community’s support will play a crucial role in helping Shawarmar thrive for many years to come.
