Anna Paquin Walks Red Carpet with Cane, Opens Up About Health Challenges

Anna Paquin recently made her red carpet debut at the premiere of her new film, “A Bit of Light,” directed by her husband Stephen Moyer. Despite facing mobility issues due to an undisclosed health problem she has been battling for the past two years, Paquin was determined to attend the event and support her husband’s latest project.

Paquin, who won an Oscar for her role in “True Blood,” used a cane to walk on the red carpet and revealed that it has been a challenging time for her, especially with her speech. While she hasn’t disclosed the specifics of her health issue, sources say she is expected to make a full recovery.

In “A Bit of Light,” Paquin plays a struggling mother who moves in with her father after losing custody of her children. The film also stars Ray Winstone, Youssef Kerkour, Pippa Bennett-Warner, and Luca Hogan.

Paquin spoke about why she loves independent filmmaking and how it allows them to tell stories with integrity and truth. She praised Moyer as not only an amazing acting partner but also as a talented director who pushed her to give her best performance in the film. “A Bit of Light” is set to hit theaters on April 5th through Quiver.
