Mattia Perin has made the decision to reject an enticing offer from Fenerbahce as he remains focused on securing a new contract with Juventus. The 31-year-old goalkeeper has established himself as a dependable backup option for Juventus, stepping in when required and delivering strong performances.
Although interest from six Serie A teams, including Fiorentina, Genoa, Monza, Como, Parma, and Atalanta, Perin has politely declined their offers. He is determined to move forward with Juventus and is looking to sign a new contract with the club.
According to reports from Tuttosport, Perin also turned down a lucrative offer from Fenerbahce, who were willing to offer him a contract worth €3 million net per season – double his current salary at Juventus. Despite the financial allure of this offer, Perin opted to remain in Turin.
Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli values Perin’s contributions to the club and is currently in negotiations over a new two-year contract with an option for an additional year based on appearances. It is clear that Perin’s loyalty lies with Juventus as he works towards securing his future with Italy’s most successful team.
