On Tuesday, at the age of 114, Juan Vicente Perez Mora, the oldest man in the world as certified by Guinness World Records in 2022, passed away in Caracas, Venezuela. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced his death on social media, acknowledging his long and remarkable life.

Perez was officially recognized as the oldest living man on February 4, 2022, when he was 112 years and 253 days old. With an impressive family legacy that extended through multiple generations, he had 11 children, 41 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren
