World Central Kitchen reveals the identities of employees who lost their lives in Gaza

World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a non-profit organization that has been delivering food to civilians in Gaza. Tragically, the organization recently lost seven employees who were killed by Israeli airstrikes. These employees were on their way back from a mission when the strike occurred, according to a statement from WCK CEO Erin Gore.

Among those killed were Saifeddin Issam Aydan Abutaha, Lalzawami Frankcom, Damian Soból, Jacob Flickinger, John Chapman, James Henderson, and James Kirby. Abutaha, Frankcom, Soból, and Flickinger were part of the WCK relief team, while Chapman, Henderson, and Kirby were part of the WCK security team. The employees were leaving a warehouse in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza when the strike happened.

Israeli Prime Minister expressed regret over the incident, calling it a “tragic event” and an “unintended strike.” WCK founder José Andrés called on the Israeli government to stop the indiscriminate killing and prevent any more innocent lives from being lost.
