MOXI Excites Kids on School Break with Science and Innovation

During the Spring Break, students have the chance to explore science and innovation at the MOXI (The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation) in Santa Barbara. The week has been filled with various schedules, and March has seen a lot of action. The museum is located next to the Santa Barbara train station, so it’s recommended to make a reservation in advance for a visit.

Kristin Denton, the Associate Director of Education at MOXI, shared that there are currently 16 kids in a Spring Break camp where they are learning about music, creating a band, and more. It seems like the community is highly interested in these summer camps as they are already filling up quickly.

Inside MOXI, children were actively engaged in activities such as racing handmade cars, creating Lego designs on a giant board, and measuring their jumps using video images. A special exhibit called Shadow Box was particularly captivating and will be on display at the museum until May 31st.

More details, photos and video content related to this event will be added later today.
