Grand Opening Celebration for Miss Sweet Potato Pie World at Marketplace Mall

Miss Sweet Potato Pie World, a children’s entertainment and education center that specializes in hosting parties and celebrations, held its grand opening at Marketplace Mall on Monday. The business is located near the mall’s east entrance.

The grand opening event featured appearances by Miss Sweet Potato Pie, DJ music, food, and party favors. The business was founded by Dianne Snowden-Johnson, a teacher in the Rochester City School District who has been portraying Miss Sweet Potato Pie at events in the community for over 20 years.

Miss Sweet Potato Pie World is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, closed on Sunday and Monday.
