Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl Commercial Valued at Over $12 Million

Taylor Swift made a splash at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, appearing onscreen for 53 seconds during the game, worth about $12.4 million in ad space. Despite not being paid to be there, her presence was a bargain for the NFL and CBS. Companies and brands have shelled out big bucks in the past for celebrity endorsements, such as BeyoncĂ©’s $30 million deal with Verizon and Larry David’s $10 million commercial for FTX. Many predicted record-breaking viewership ahead of the game, thanks in part to Swift’s popularity. In a Seton Hall Sports Poll conducted before the Super Bowl, 21% of respondents said they planned to watch because of Swift’s expected appearance. This year’s Super Bowl may have attracted more viewers than ever before due to Swift’s influence.
