Kadarius Toney, Chiefs WR, reportedly ruled out for Super Bowl LVIII against 49ers

Kadarius Toney’s 2023 season came to an early end on December 17th, leaving him with only 27 catches for 169 yards and a touchdown. Despite reports of personal reasons and a hip injury, it was later revealed that the hip injury may have been fabricated.

Despite this, Toney will practice with the Chiefs in preparation for Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday. A decision on his game status will be made later. Toney had a difficult season, with critical drops in the season opener and an offsides penalty that negated his go-ahead touchdown.

With only one more year remaining on his rookie contract, Toney’s future remains uncertain. The infamous offsides penalty cast a shadow over his performance and left many questioning whether he would be able to turn things around in time to make a meaningful impact on the field.
