Seeking 6th straight win, Lakers face off against Pacers

The Los Angeles Lakers (41-32, ninth in the Western Conference) will face off against the Indiana Pacers (41-33, sixth in the Eastern Conference) in Indianapolis on Friday at 7 p.m. EDT. The Lakers are riding a five-game win streak and will look to continue their momentum with a victory over Indiana.

Indiana has been strong at home with a 21-15 record and boasts the NBA’s top-scoring offense, averaging 122.9 points per game while shooting an impressive 50.5% from the field. On the other hand, the Lakers have struggled on the road with a 14-20 record and a 16-22 record in games decided by 10 points or more.

When it comes to shooting, the Pacers make 50.5% of their shots from the field, which is just under what Davis allows his opponents to shoot (47.3%). Additionally, the Pacers average only one less made three-pointer per game than what Reaves typically gives up (17 made three-pointers vs 8 for Reaves).

This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season, with Reaves leading his team to victory in their previous encounter with a score of 99-98 on March 25. In that game, Haliburton led Indiana with 30 points and six assists while Reaves led Los Angeles with nine points and six rebounds.

Key players to watch include Haliburton and Reaves as well as Damian Lillard for the Pacers who is currently playing through an injury but still contributing to his team’s success on offense and defense. In terms of recent performance, both teams have been performing well lately, with each going undefeated in their last four games respectively.
