Weekend Schedule for NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series races at Martinsville Speeday

This weekend, NASCAR fans will be in for a treat as all three national series race at Martinsville Speedway. The action kicks off with the Truck Series on Friday, followed by the Xfinity Series on Saturday afternoon and the Cup Series capping off the weekend with a Sunday afternoon race.

Last season, Corey Heim won the Truck race, John Hunter Nemechek took home the Xfinity race trophy and Kyle Larson won the Cup race. However, this year’s winners are yet to be determined.

The weather forecast for the weekend at Martinsville Speedway is looking good with partly cloudy skies and temperatures ranging from 47 degrees to 62 degrees Fahrenheit across all three days of racing. The Cup race held at Richmond last season featured a mix of wet weather tires and racing slicks which added an exciting element to the race.

Friday’s schedule starts with garage open at 10 am for the Craftsman Truck Series followed by track activity from 3:05 pm to 7:30 pm which includes Truck Series practice, qualifying, and racing. On Saturday, garage opens at 10:30 am for the Cup Series while track activities include Cup practice, qualifying, and Xfinity races. Sunday’s schedule features the Cup Race with garage open and track activities starting at 3 pm.

With Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney among other drivers who have had great successes at Martinsville Speedway before, it promises to be an exciting weekend of racing across all three national NASCAR series.
