Benjamin T. Dillon, a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in healthcare administration, is currently serving as the Interim Associate Director of the Northern Indiana VA Healthcare System. In his role, he oversees daily operations at a Level 1B VA Medical Center serving over 41,000 unique Veterans annually.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Dillon worked at the Veterans Affairs Integrated Health Care System in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he oversaw daily operations at a Level 1B VA Medical Center serving over 41,000 unique Veterans annually. During his time in Cincinnati, he led a team of 272 personnel and supported Administrative Operations at all 11 sites of care.
Mr. Dillon’s expertise in procurement and logistics earned him the title of Chief Supply Chain Officer in 2017 at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. He also served as the Deputy National Program Manager for the Field Support Readiness Branch for the Veterans Health Administration Procurement & Logistics Office.
Mr. Dillon began his Federal Service in 2001 in the U.S. Army as a Civil Affairs Specialist and completed deployments to Afghanistan, East Africa, and several European countries. He later finished his military service as an Intelligence Analyst at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in 2008. Mr. Dillon earned his undergraduate degree in Operations Management from the University of Cincinnati in 2008 and continued his education with a concentration in Medical Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011, earning a master’s in business administration.
