Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, has expressed his concerns that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine could lead to a global war. He believes that Russia’s involvement in conflicts around the world and its refusal to back down unless pressured by major powers such as the US and China are contributing factors.

In an interview with UK tabloid The Sun, Zelenskyy highlighted Russia’s partnership with Hamas militants and its role in training them. He also pointed out that Russia is working closely with Iran to instigate conflicts that could spiral out of control.

Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of China’s role in putting pressure on Russia, noting that China has little interest in the Middle East like Russia and Iran. He warned that Ukraine is at the center of global risks for World War III and that Russia may continue to push until major powers work together to confront the situation.

Apart from the threat posed by Russia, Zelenskyy acknowledged that Ukraine faces challenges in getting support from Congress in the US and cannot defend itself without assistance from Western countries. He stressed the implications of a potential defeat by Russia, warning that NATO countries could be next if Ukraine falls.

Zelenskyy’s remarks underscored the urgent need for international support to prevent further escalation of the conflict in Ukraine and deter future aggression by Russia.
