Zrinjski has appointed Mario Ivanković as their new head coach after parting ways with Krunoslav Rendulić. This decision comes after the team suffered a 3-0 loss to Velež in the Mostar derby, despite leading the team to a double crown and securing a historic placement in the group stage of the Conference League last year.

Ivanković, who is 48 years old, brings extensive experience in working with first teams, having spent nearly six years with the same team. He has also worked with the U17 and U19 national teams of BiH and is currently part of the professional staff of the A national team of BiH.

Zrinjski has stated that Ivanković will be supported by coaches from the previous coaching staff until further notice. The duration of Ivanković’s tenure as Zrinjski’s head coach has not yet been disclosed.
