The Japanese girl group ATARASHII GAKKO! is set to release their third full-length album, AG! Calling, on June 7 through their U.S. label 88rising. This marks the group’s first full-length release in five years, following their last album Wakage ga itaru. The album includes tracks such as “Tokyo Calling,” which they performed live at Coachella this year, and “Fly High,” the theme song for the animated Netflix movie Hanma Baki VS Kengan Ashura, among others.
To support the new album, ATARASHII GAKKO! will embark on a world tour that will begin with World Tour Part I in June at Primavera Sound 2024 in Madrid before heading to 13 cities across Europe and Asia. Following that, the group will embark on World Tour Part II, performing in 11 cities across North America starting in September. Tickets for the tour will be available for advance purchase starting at 10:00 a.m. on May 9 in each city, with general sales opening at 10:00 a.m. on May 10 in each city.
