Drybar seeks new owner as they close Sioux Falls location

The Sioux Falls Drybar at Empire Place has closed its doors as the owner searches for a new franchisee to take over the business. The location, situated in front of The Empire Mall, was the last day of operation on Sunday.

In addition to the Sioux Falls location, the franchisees also closed down their Rapid City branch due to unforeseen circumstances. The closure was announced in a statement released by the business, expressing gratitude to their team and clients. All memberships have been canceled, and any membership fees processed in April are being refunded to customers.

The franchisor is currently working on selling the shops with the hopes of reopening them soon. In the meantime, gift cards and saved member benefits can still be used at other Drybar locations across the country. Despite the closures, the teams at both locations had a lot of fun serving customers with great hair and mimosas, creating memories that will be cherished.

For any inquiries or concerns, individuals can contact the business via email at [email protected] Drybar, a national salon chain that specializes in blowouts, first opened its doors in Sioux Falls last summer. Unfortunately, a neighboring business at the same retail center, Hawaii Fluid Art, also unexpectedly closed earlier this year.
