The Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball team is ecstatic as they wait to learn their fate for the NAIA National Tournament. Despite facing challenges, the Eagles emerged victorious and won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title over the weekend. This was an impressive turnaround for the team, who had been struggling in the final weeks leading up to the tournament, losing five of six games. What seemed like a difficult situation turned into a must-win scenario for Oklahoma Wesleyan.

Head coach Kirk Kelly was thrilled with how his team handled the pressure during the tournament. The NAIA Baseball Tournament Selection Show is set to take place on Thursday afternoon at 4:00, and will be broadcasted live on the NAIA’s YouTube page. Oklahoma Wesleyan will be competing in a double-elimination tournament, where they will need to win in order to move on to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. Overall, it has been an exciting journey for the Eagles as they await their assignment in the national tournament.
