New York Giants’ 2024 NFL Draft Grades: Enhancements in Wide Receiver, Tight End, and Safety Positions, but No Quarterback Added

The Giants may not have selected a quarterback in the draft, but they still managed to fill crucial needs on their roster with their solid group of picks. Malik Nabers and Tyler Nubin were key additions, replacing Xavier McKinney and providing much-needed depth at receiver. Andru Phillips is a smart pick that could help other receivers on the roster find more suitable roles.

Malik Nabers has a lot of potential and could be a game-breaking threat in the NFL, filling a need for the Giants as they look to build a stronger offense. Tyler Nubin is also expected to make a big impact, replacing Xavier McKinney and adding much-needed depth at linebacker. Theo Johnson is another smart pick, with Darren Waller’s uncertain playing future in mind.

Andru Phillips was not the team’s top pick but was still a solid addition to the roster. While there may have been other options available, Phillips was a good choice for the Giants at that point in the draft. Overall, the Giants should feel good about their draft class as they continue to build for success in the future.
