Gulf stocks shine as Qatar lags behind in weekly performance

In the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, most stock markets had positive performances last week. The Saudi Arabian market index rose by 0.8%, closing at 12,352 points. Kuwait saw an increase in its general market index of 0.16%, closing at 7,033.48 points. Bahrain’s Bahrain General Index gained 0.58%, finishing at 2,028.59 points.

On the other hand, Qatar experienced a decline in its stock index by 0.28% last week, closing at 9,610.80 points. However, the Omani stock market performed well with the Muscat Stock Exchange index rising by 1.27% and ending at 4,773
